The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

When everyone wakes up from stasis and are getting their clothes on, Vas turns to Ferro and says something like, "Hey, Omera, whos Snow White?" What is the name she refers to Ferro by?

I always thought she was saying, "Hey, look!" in Spanish.

So, "Hey, mira, who's Snow White?"

Makes sense. She follows it with "que bonita" so she's already swapping between English and Spanish.

Yep! Vasquez speaks quite a few phrases or words in Spanish throughout her lines, they're definitely those words that are hard to catch if you don't know them or how they are pronounced. I've looked them up before, and had started taking some Spanish training once.

Vasquez: "Hey, mira Who's Snow White?" (look)
Ferro: "She's supposed to be some kind of consultant... Apparently, she saw an alien once..."
Hudson: "Whoopee-f***in' do! Hey I'm impressed."
Vasquez: "¡Qué bonita! ("How pretty", "How beautiful")

And later, in Medlab when discussing/theorizing about the Queen

Hudson: "Hey, Maybe it's like an ant hive."
Vasquez: "Bees, man, bees have hives."
Hudson: "You know what I mean. There's like, one female that runs the whole show."
Bishop: "Yes, the Queen"
Hudson: "Yeah, the mama. She's bad-ass, man, I mean big..."
Vasquez: "These things ain't ants, estúpido." (Stupid, Idiot)

For quite awhile I assumed she calls Hudson "Torpedo" which I thought was maybe another Easter egg reference like "She thought they said "Illegal Aliens" and signed up!" where she might have been referencing Bill Paxton running full speed into a wall to test the durability of the first sets of armour hahaha. I was wrong, sadly!

I do check the subtitles, but I still wouldn't have known what mira meant. :)

Must admit, when she said "Mira" I thought she said that because it was Ferro's first name!

Yeah, that's what I thought she might have been saying, calling Ferro by her first name....which would have been a bit strange as all of them only called each other by their last names through the rest of the film.

But things like that have happened on accident in other movies.
