The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I was going thru the interwebs looking for any references to the uniform of the USCM during winter type missions. Figured I'd bring the topic up to fellow Marines to figure out what it could look like.

Just throw your thermal insulation, BDU's, cold weather coat and pants over that, armour and webbing over your coat and pants, and winter camouflage vest and pants over everything. Ta-da.

that makes for an interesting idea for the universe where the PR sides can be taken off and camo applied to the theater of war. i like that idea a lot

Funny thing, I've been considering a white PR anyway.

Our cadets drill team used rifles with white furniture. It looked pretty cool then, looks pretty bad ass in the mock up above.

I was thinking about this the other day, the standard pulse rifle has a bright red led display on the side....

This is 1986 - Should they not be donning a set of 'Chinese Fighting Suit' and Arctic Coveralls from a surplus shop? ;)

ive thought about white M3 armor before. kind of like the weyland troops in "Aliens: colonial marines". i would imagine that if space travel is so common theyd have the tech for a really lightweight winter bdu that went under the M3.

yellow jacket. Can you please upload the pictures directly to the site? I have concerns as to how long photo bucket will stay around and if this gets archived it is best to have everything reside on the website.
