The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

What was your base vest and what have you made?

Hi cheers for the comments the vest is a laing 16kg with a modified front spine and a replacement aluminium plate to hold the top straps in place. The original was just too big and the clips were in the wrong place. I'm trying to make it as accurate as i possibly can using this base vest. I've had a bit of time today to play, what's the concensus on the plate location any comments appreciated it's not fixed yet on the bottom bracket so there's still time too play ☺

Clips and chest plate pretty much done now to spray the waist plate to get it all matching then onto the back, want a lamp bracket and shoulder lamp at the very least.

I had a lot of problems with mounting my shoulder lamp to my vest. It kept getting off balance and dragging one shoulder down. I'm curious to see what you one up with
