The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Alison has asked me to invite board members to Trevor's funeral.

The funeral is just over a week away on Friday, July 15th at 3.20pm.
It will be held at:
South Essex Crematorium
Ockendon Road
Corbets Tey
Upminster
RM14 2UY

There will be a wake at a nearby pub after.

Trevor himself expressed to me that he would love it if the UKCM were at his funeral, in costume.
If you guys could set something up, even if there was just a couple of you, it would be amazing.
I guess you could all just post a ready line here or something and then as the week progresses I could update Alison with (if any) potential numbers.

Of course, anyone not in costume is equally welcome.
A board presence of any kind would be great.

This would be a great way to honour our friend and the whole legacy of the film itself.
I'm not sure who on the rota is in charge right now (Gareth, Chris?) but please just bell or PM me if you need any info. Thanks guys.

I'll find out about pulse rifles. I think Trevor would want that, you guys look better with them but I'll ask and see what the consensus is.

I'm cool with either. I've only got a VP70, so it won't make much difference to my costume anyway.

No problem, guys, Alison asks to see all these threads, it means a lot to her, to see all the tributes and respects paid.

After some discussion it's going to be a no to weapons on this occasion, guys. So it's just going to be armour/costume which will look awesome anyway of course.

I'm in hospital Friday so unfortunately won't be able to attend.

Any any one has any UKCM related problems / questions etc please see Matt on the day as senior member.

And just to confirm what ADC has said there will be no weapons, many thanks.

Please give Trevor's family our sincere condolences on behalf of the UKCM

Please tell Alison the Bucketheads will be raising a glass or 2 in Trevor's Honour Friday evening and to let Harry and Ashleigh know I am thinking of them

I'll be toasting him from France - can't come in person I'm afraid.
Damn this stupid distance thing. :(
Give him a good sendoff, mates. And give my Gallic best to his family.

Fellas, I'll make sure Alison and the kids see this thread and I know they'll appreciate all your well wishes.

Can anyone give PVB a lift from Maidstone? Anyone close enough? It's not too far from where the funeral is taking place and Steve has had his share of health problems and is unable to drive at the moment.
Alison is especially keen to have him there because he always made a big impression on Trevor.
Let's leave no man behind!

If the funeral starts at 3:20pm what time are we meeting up, 3-ish? I'm aiming to be there a little early as I'm coming a long way and don't want to be late.
