The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I really enjoyed watching it!
It proves that you don’t need Millions to make good movies.
The models reminded me of the classic space ship and prop builds back at that point in time. :D
It would be amazing to see more of this.

Thank you Frank! Your kind words have made my day!

Burner: in light of two high profile C&D situations in the fan film community (Alien Identity and Axanar) the future of Freya 7 has been in discussion for a bit now behind the scenes. As one possible direction for us to go would break continuity with the stand-alone short film, there was concern over releasing it publicly. I am in favor of putting it on YouTube or Vimeo for free so please stay tuned.

I'm sorry for the radio silence on this, we're just trying to protect ourselves moving forward.

Or upload it on Vimeo but password protected and send some of us just the link and code to access the vimeo site - really - I can not wait any longer!!

I wouldn't be too concerned over that. Identity was C&Ded because it was too close to what Blomkamp's film was going to be and Axanar seems to be a too big concern.

Happy Alien Day everyone.

Here at last is Last Flight of the Freya 7, the short film version that played in theaters this past Fall as part of the Damnationland anthology. Will there be more in the future? I hope so, but for now please enjoy this:

I really enjoyed the video and thanks for uploading it! I can see that a lot of hard work went into creating it and it has definitely paid off as you have captured the aesthetics from Alien and Aliens really well. Hope to see more episodes in the future.

Nice!! Great production values for an amateur film! I've always thought that one of the hardest parts of making a film come alive is the sets; to make it look and 'feel' real you have to layer it, and that's not easy to do on a limited budget.
