The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Okay, we have officially begun our fundraising effort for the first phase of Last Flight of the Freya 7:

http://igg.me/at/freya7shortfilm

All I ask is for your help getting the word out about this. You guys have been so supportive over the years and I'm making this for all of you to enjoy, but I'm not looking to you to fund it! Word of mouth and social media are the keys to success, so please help a fellow grunt out!

And just for fun here's one more prop from the project:

After the big push today I NEEDED that drink! Too bad I bought cheap whiskey...

We're $500 away from our goal and Ricco Ross just promoted the campaign on his Facebook page!

Less than 20 hours to go. This has been quite a ride!

Totally missed this whole campaign, Chris, due to a house move but great to see you got funded and I must say, loved the passion coming from your presentation (and some good gags, too). Project looks promising, wishing you all the best man. Keep up the good work!

Thanks ADC! What a wild ride crowdsourcing is. I'm working on sets right now and trying to nail down a few final bits before we shoot next month.

I'll be in touch really soon about the piece you've offered to help on!

So I finished the Freya 7's Galley:

I'm well on my way with the Freya 7's corridor coming off the airlock:

And we finished and shot out the cockpit of the salvage ship that approaches the Freya 7 in the first episode:

(and what the camera sees):

We were just about to start filming when Neill Blomkamp liked a goofy tweet of mine about Alien5!

All in all this is coming together really well!

As you know, I also invested a lot of nerd-love into my costumes for my fanfilm ALIEN:THE ADORA FILES and all I can say is: You did genial job, Buddy!

The costuming and casting from a pure appearance standpoint is perfect. It looks like clothing, not costuming, and that really sells it. Just a guy working in space.

I want to thank everyone on Aliens Legacy who has helped with this production. Just looking at that last photo I have to thank Noble, Harry Harris, Stephen210, Sgt. Kitten, Bigbisont and Chef for making this character's costume possible!
