The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This is great Pug! Thanks for posting it.

But, hey, what's the voice saying? My Flemmish is non-existent, I'm afraid. :P

OH! WHAT CAN I SAY – AN ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!

Worked out really well, eh, Gareth?
And funny, too. Yeah, they definitely made it work.
You honour us all!

Still, you'll have to do more to become as famous as tv's Harry Harris.

:wink:

Great work, buddy!

"Aan het bestaan van buitenaardse wezens kunt u twijfelen, maar nooit aan de zekerheid van de Staatsbons!"

Which means: You can doubt the existence of extra-terrestrial creatures, but never the certainty of State bonds!

Buitenaards = extra-terrestrial
wezen = creature

Or you could simply translate those two words as on: "aliens". But in Dutch, there is no single word for "alien".

Ah! Good one. :)

Thanks for the translation. And now, someone get someone to make an ad with some Marines in it, dammit! 8)

But Ill be amazed if the producers don't get a bollocking from Fox Belgium when it airs (for breaching copyright).

We've had several requests for similar film shoots as well, ranging from people wanting to see Dart Vader feed ducks to a famous Flemish rock star who joined our lub and suddenly wanted to make a clip featuring a lot of our costumes.

Unfortunately, we had to deny all of these, because of copyright issues. Especially since we have good contacts with Lucasfilm, we can't allow to take chances. I'm not sure about how Fox Belgium will react, but I also suspect they might have a say about the matter.

Therefore: save this ad to your hard drives while it's still there, folks!! :D

The Alien suit was modified slightly to avoid copyright infringes. So Fox has no right in getting pissed off. It was modified yes, but they were cleaver enough to not over do it for us fans to go "FOOK IT'S AN ALIEN" :wink:

Its a very clever advert! Fun and slapstick!

Bri :D

I noticed that, but didn't say anything; I thought it might have been deliberate! :D
