The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I don't know anything about BB guns/airsofts, so if you have a dependable source for this shotgun, please let me know. The only place I know to look is eBay, and just about every seller there looks like crap feedback-wise.

Are you after that exact looking gun, or will this do:

http://www.airsoftarmoury.co.uk/product ... ts_id=1431

Edit: Sidewinder has found it. :)

Search on that site for AIRSOFT - 30" SPAS SHOTGUN. :)

Dom, thanks for that photo, is that really how big it is? I thought it would be bigger. :?

I was hoping for something a little more "massive".

I guess this is the same thing, but with a foldable stock.

The Crossman one is definitely undersized (maybe 2:3 scale).

I have the one pictured in the first post. It is just over 30" from the rear of the pistol grip to the muzzle.

Unfortunately I cannibalized it for a failed PR project. Since it was originally for a Terminator costume (with a lookalike AR-18 ), I put it back together afterward- but it looks pretty chewed up now (including having an extra ejection port on the left side of the cage). Image

I always thought it was more 3/4 scale. I got a TM Spas and the ickle one.

Had it many, many, many years.
The TM SPAS is a big 'un.. 'specially compared to the other...:)

the one with the folding stock's 3/4 scale too.. I had one, was neat, but the size deal made me kinda annoyed. ^^;

The Tokyo Marui version is pretty close to 1:1 scale... but it's also 5x the price of the cheapie. Performs pretty well.

Argh!

So I go cheap and get something undersized, or go expensive and get a better scale.

:?
I was hoping for cheap but life-sized. I only want it for costuming/display.

Jim- the one in the first pic is made by CYMA. It's el cheapo and worthless as a firing airsoft gun, but perfect for costuming as it is nearly 1:1 scale. They also have lead weights installed in the grip to give it a decent simulated weight.

Amazon has them for less than $21 (personally I think that is still too high a price).

Thanks Kev!

$20+ isn't so bad especially coming from a dependable seller like Amazon.

Is there anything they don't sell??
