Hey guys here's the kit I made put it together over the weekend I guess I didn't do such a bad all came together very nice.like to thank marsattack for the great help he did for me accomplish this awesome prop an thank you to the fellow Marines for there positive feedback thank you guys hope like the pics.project comes to a close till the next.

hello guys just wanted to post up an update my headset kit i got really lucky over holidays xmas shopping i was in south carolina with family visiting for christmas holidays i stumbled to neighborhood garage sale with the wife she wanted to check furniture see if anything was good but any ways i was bored looked around i could not believe what i saw they had box full of old walkmans an headsets believe or not i was hoping to find guardians of the galaxy sony walkman but i saw the corner of the box there was a metal mic sticking out my heart was pounding as it resemble the beyerdynamic mic an sure enough i found two in there OMG i was so in shocked definately got my christmas wish.well i just wanted to share my story with u guys now my headset kits will come with accurate headset ill post pics for you guys.

Hey Marines new updates resculpted my eyepiece is more hollow and smaller than the original one I did before was a little to big so I decided to do it again here is what I came up with hope u guys like it.

If you are up for some advice, the edges around the stalk are more rounded. Not sharp.


The megatron scope fits snug around it.

Also the part peeking through the stalk is Megatron bits.

As fellow member Gio would say, better picts for better builds.

Nice rounded edges on the stalk

Several parts have been ID'd.

The opening is megatron scope, 2 screws, and a greeblie

Interior eye cup and side ear pieces have also been ID'd.

I suggest scouring the DS helmet thread.

Also try to keep the scale and weight down, previous builds have had these issues.



Another suggestion, the more found parts you can put into your master, the more interest you'll see.

Check Propstore's archive for more, larger picts.

Here's one my kits I put together over the weekend now I added a functional beyerdynimic headset since I aquired an original I managed to make replica copy of it I made it so that it moves just like the real deal I added a metal boom mic to match the original painted with some weathering in it eyepiece of course swivel too.
