The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That sounds killer. I personally didn't have a problem worth the game and thought it lived up to the hype i created for it. I also recently was able to play it offline co-op with my buddy and it was 100 % better with a friend. Can't wait to try online coop with my profile.

I never ran into any problems with the campaign, at least not until last week when I started a co-op with a friend...and then it was ammo count glitches which usually worked in our favor. Then again, he breaks every game he plays (and I mean EVERY game..), so I think I know why ACM goofed on us. ;)

Me to. You get to shoot Aliens with a M41A! :delta:

Also I never saw the hype before I bought the game, so to me it's excellent entertainment.

i was out sick for a few days so i picked it back up and beat it sunday. i really enjoyed this game and dont get why it got so much flak.

it's just the right kind of game that i can play but not worry about getting lost in, and it has replay value; because i want to go back and achievement hunt. im debating getting the season pass to get more missions, and whatever i can do to mod a character and get hudson.

i just got another game in the mail that also gets alot of bad marks, much like the movie it's supposed to happen before. which, is a movie i thoroughly enjoyed (all things considered)...terminator salvation. first mission in it's a decent game.

I will stick to what ive always said i like the game and the fact it has Aliens Legacy members in it just makes it that little bit more awsome

I luvd the game yes it had its bugs but all games do. and its still fun to this day to play. i plan on getting it for PC when i get home and i have it for PS3 and 360 jsut playing the game in movie settings is what its all about. i mean no other aliens game gave ou the chance to run around all those places like that. and to see more of the Sulaco thats enough.

I have to admit, I loved the look of the npc/player chars, the levels and the layout of the maps, the sound and even the additional weapons and attachments made sense and I had a lot of fun with them. Replay value was still way lower for me, than any other Aliens game before and I also noticed, apart from the hype/bash the grafical downgrade. This one could have been so much better with more care from the development team. Shame...

i really enjoyed the game and i certainly cant see what all the negative commentary on it was about. it looks identical to the prereleased video to me. i plan on revisiting it to get 100% on xbox360 after i decide when i'm satisfied with AC:black flag. I had just as much playing Terminator Salvation as I did this A:CM.

be sure to vote for it to be backwards compatible with XB1.

I liked the game when it came out, and still do. I never saw an issue with it.

Hi All, does anyone know if it's still possible to meet up and play ACM online? I put in on PS4 the other night for the first time in ages, a friend of mine was over and she loved it, I'll have to say that playing it again was a LOT of fun.
I don't know how these things work? with it being quite an old game now will the servers still be in place to enable multi play/online meets or are the servers for older games shut down as less and less people play a particular game?
Cheers for any info.

There are no dedicated servers. So long as you can find players to connect to, you can play

It's not a perfect game by any means, but it's not half as bad as most of its critics claim.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go reinstall it. :delta:

Reinstalled this recently myself and marathoned the whole campaign with two close friends of mine – we had so much fun lol
So I came to the conclusion that while the game, honestly, isn't the best, it is fun with friends. Especially for the price its currently going for on the Steam sale.

This was one of the few games that I actually could not force myself to play anymore. After all the hype for it, it was an utter disappointment for me. I put it up for sale the same day I purchased it :/

i found there are a few good looking mods over on MODDB.com stuff to make it more feel like an Aliens game. Also there was one to make it so the bodies dont vanish. so im thinking of getting the game on PC also soon.
