The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

As some of you know I recently got divorced , the divorce was easy . we both wanted it , and kids live with me ,so no child support , anyway during my marriage , I had to sell all of my toys to keep up with her spending .Now, its time to get my toys back !!! and of course im starting with the Aramat m41a pulse rifle . so I ordered a m1a1 (non working ) some hcg brown bess shrouds from matsu , and the spas cage ,so that's 800 bucks down , and that will be it for a while , ive got some stuff up for sale depending on what sells , ill probably get the stock and barrel vent next , followed by the real 870 and grenade launcher block . first pic of many

little update , i know its been a while , anyway ive sourced everything , all i am waiting on is the real steel thompson (blank firing ) m1a1 , and i hope to have the ultimate hero pr . in the past i would have to sell stuff to buy something new , but i have been very good about saving for stuff and paying cash for it , or not buying it unless ive got the funds . only took me 44 years to figure it out
pics to follow

Have you received the Hudson? I'm wondering how accurate it is to a real m1a1. Please let us know your thoughts when you get it, seems to be a good option to a real m1a1 lower which go for over $300.

the last lower i saw for sale on gb was going for 7 bills , crazy , if its not up to snuff its going back , but im hopefull , should have it by thistime next week .....
Another little update , firing pin removed , bottom of the trigger group cut off , trigger group rendered obsolite , barrel welded and filled with molten lead , somehow i lost 3 of the 6 tiny allen screws that hold the barrels to the barrel block lol

That is the Hudson? Looks awesome. What do you think of the lower receiver, seem to be the right dimensions, of good quality? Really looking forward to your build, have one myself coming up soon.

Right on. Looking forward to seeing how you build this up. I have an upper receiver from SD studios so I'm just curious if the Hudson lower would fit.

I have in the past owned a real Thompson lower . And they appear identical in construction and parts . With the exception that this one appears to have some aluminum internals . The only difference in the upper is the bolt is aluminum and hollow on the back side

upon further inspection , the whole unit appears to be aluminum . which makes drilling and tapping a bit easier , and should make it a bit lighter as well

Looks awesome man. Is there reference on how to bolt all the pieces together? Thanks for the info about the receiver, might have to pick one up.

It makes me jealous that you guys have a much more easy access to real weapons parts. A build like this would be simply not possible here in Germany.
