The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Hey as I said before, just toss me in somewhere! Now just to lose a few lbs so my shirt fits right.

May I suggest a time to meet up on Thurs or Fri for Color Guard rehearsal? I'm not talking about hours of our time. Perhaps a quick 20 min review and rehearsal. Things are hectic on Saturday morning before the parade. I hate to do this in a mad rush.

Yes, but simple white parade gloves are fine. You don't need the expensive Donald Trump butler white gloves. Look on eBay, they are super cheap (a few bucks). There might be spares in the parade kit, but I'm not sure.

39 DAYS !!

No need for eBay, by thanks all the same ;). They have dress gloves at the Exchange uniform shop, I'll just pick up a set next time I'm there.

Tony, I tried organizing such a practice last year. I believe three people showed up.

Hey guys, I just realised: I am bringing a French flag, yes, but no flagpole. I had one, which I left with... Dom? Derek Smith?
I can't remember, sorry...

Anyone DOES remember? Or should I forward money to someone to buy a new flagpole?

Jerome, we now have an official AL parade kit. We should have a spare pole for you. No worries.

It was still productive. I'm sure there will be a time when most of the CG will be together (at Hyatt or Marriott bar). We can just get together on the fly and do a 20 min rehearsal.

Sorry if I am going off old info (plans to attend D*con kind of popped up out of nowhere), but the first post looks to only have one rifle escort for the US flag. If a second escort was desired to flank the flag, I would be happy to help out.

Also willing to act as a backup if you guys have it sorted already. Just let me know if I can help in any way.

Second escort is not required, but does look a lot better. Yes, of course you can join in.
Do you have proper Charlie uniform?

Sure do. Service Cs are ready to roll. I do not have white gloves or spats/leggings though. I believe I have time to source them if loaners are not available.

I also may need to swap my flame unit for a pulse just for the parade.

White leggings are with the parade kit. White gloves are cheap on eBay. And yes, you'll need a pulse rife.

(note** also be sure to have sunglasses. Cheap aviators from any convenience store will do.)

I was really hoping we would have both a "Left Piece" and "Right Piece" for the flag detail :) It always looks better with the symmetry. Thanks for stepping up, bigbisont!

Im all up for a planning session on either the Thursday or Friday. How about Friday before the Sci-Fi ball, if theres going to be a large marine presence there?

Service Cs done and ready to go. Dont worry; Ill take my lip ring out for the actual parade.
