The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I swore I wasn't going to revisit the bullets, but I'd been ill for a few weeks and haven't been able to get to the shop to do any real prop work (sorry). But I did manage to throw together a few paper props... So I'll just leave these right here.
Super deluxe pulse rifle caseless ammo fifty round box and M40 grenade five round box. The nomenclature on them BTW, is an homage to Derrick Baena and his pulse rifle manual.

I have some more but I haven't uploaded them yet.

Excellent work. I love the little details on the box covers. Let me know if you want to get rid of them!

My only critique is the QR code on the box. It just feels very "present day" to me, especially where we see bar codes in use in Alien3. That's just me though, and I'll temper it with the realization that I now want to know where the QR code leads!

The files are adaptable I can add or remove elements and make the boxes say whatever I want. I added the q code for grins, it's not written in stone. It's just a stock bin code, it doesn't go anywhere.

I like the QR code idea.
There's a heap of free QR code generators on the internets ... my $0.02 is that it's worth making it point somewhere, just for grins :)

I tried a bunch of code generators, I just liked the look of the qr.

In truth that far into the future they're would probably be an RF strip or something like it, imbedded in or on the box for tracking and inventory control.

True.
QR codes are currently cheaper, but in a few years NFC/RF tags will be in the same price range.
And they can be scanned much quicker/reliable and time is money.

IMHO with or without QR codes the Bullet boxes look great. 8)
