The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Ok well, I ended up registering with the old name as well but wdimagineer2b was getting longwinded and everyone would shorten it to WDI when refering to me anyway so there it is.

I'll probably stick with just WDI now.

Of course, even with this topic I'm still going to forget who most of you are now.
You must all put "For the benefit of Gareth, I used to be called 'xxxx' " in your signatures please :P

Heya brothers!

I finally made it over here, been moving the last few weeks, it's been kickin' my butt. Workin' finally too! Got a great job, they really like me. 8) I work long hours, get hecka good OT, moved into a house, I'll be renting it until mine sells, then buying it! Wooo-Hooo!

It's got a prop / collection room as a room added to the 3 car garage!

So, I'm changing my forum name from the ever-so creative
Rex L Adams to my Dropzone Copernicus character:

Hollis DZC

I'll still have the REX/DCM that Dom made for me as my avatar, and will work to get a new signature- with Hollis Dropzone Copernicus on it. And natcherly, a new pic... 8)

Hooooo-Rah!

Heya Tim!

Life update time, 'eh?

Okay, here goes...

Divorce is almost final.

Worked very hard at overcoming the ensuing depression that happened.

It's positively bitchin' enjoying life now!!! Wooooo-Hooooo!!

Got a awesome house I've just moved into, it has a prop room! My two kids each have a room, it's mostly tile and hardwood floors. Only carpet is in the master bedroom, which is freakin' huge! A built in office/computer station there. Killer bathroom.

Built in outdoor bbq kitchen. Rocks hard! Outdoor tile abounds. Small lawn for the pup!

My boy is getting much better. His grades had dropped from 4.0 to D's and F's over the divorce. He's now back up to 2.65.

My daughter is doing great!

I've got a wonderful girlfriend! She's loving, caring ,supportive, just an incredible woman! My kids really like her alot!!
She's a nurse and a registered physical massage therapist. OhhhhhhMyyyyyyGod!! 8)

I've got a great job, working in the pipeline construction industry. I work long hours, but can now afford a house because of it. They really like me, things are looking really good.

My girlfriend has no problems w/ my hobbies! :D

During the whole moving phase, I left some props out in the living room, just temporarily. Now, she thinks I should do the "whole collectible theme" in it!!! OMG, is she wonderful or what?!

I've fallen in love w/ her and she w/ me. It's just incredible to have your affection returned. I honestly don't know how many years I've gone with out it.

I get up and enjoy each and every day!

Being a part of "Dropzone Copernicus" was an incredible experience. Wait until you've all seen the film!! It will be a jaw-dropping mega-cool experience!

I think that's about it. Been enjoying Costuming...did
Captain America for our town's May Fair Parade. Carried the American Flag down the center of Main St. It was a rush!

Have a Lord of the Rings "Captain of the Gondorian Rangers" outfit almost done.

Actually, been going crazy over costuming. Some outfits in the works:

Stargate- od outfit
Ghostbusters-
Resident Evil Centurioins- Heavy Weapons Specialist
Clonetroopers- Republic Commando Omega Squad-
Batman, Leather Armored Version-

Playing alof of DDO- Dungeons and Dragons Online. An incredible team work oriented fantasy fun game!!

And, lovin' life tremendously so!

take care,

-Rex

Hey JarHeads, been a member of the ezboard for as long as I can remember.
Was known as: Roguestorm1
Now known as: Rogue 1SG
Hope to spend many more years here with all my old friends, and get to know many new friends. Being an Aliens aficionado is a life long endeavor.

It was a joke dude.
(that is what the little winking face means)

I am also one of the first 20 to join the Legion.
In fact, #12 I believe.

I've never been called annoying or spat at, but I guess your entitled to your own opinion.

Nice way to bash myself and two entirely large groups of people.
No reason to "move on" from a film/ costuming hobby that you enjoy.

Finally got around to registering...

Formerly known as gsheriston as it's my ezboard name, thought I'd change it to Prof. Carabas because if any of the UKCM are going to remember me, it'll be from Alien Experience at the NSC last year. And, hopefully, this year :)
