The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

That's a shame about the change to Aervoe mix. I was going to go with that for the next project just as it was easier having it in an aerosol rather than the thinning the Tamiya for the airbrush, and the fun of cleaning the airbrush after.

Finally managed to dig out the thread where a decent match was made with mixing Tamiya paints. As it is a mix, your mileage may vary etc...

Willie, any chance you can get some technical information on that?

Say a RAL code, or an RGB, CMYK breakdown.

I don't have an imageshack account so can't see timeslips pictures unfortunately.

That is a shame, but also provides me a bit of peace of mind. I had noticed when I used Aervoe 999 on my flame thrower early this year that it looked much brighter than the Pulse and tracker I sprayed last year. I always gave them a gentle dusting of OD on top of the 999, so I figured I must have gone too light on my OD dusting this round. Now I know...dang Aervoe.

A lot of the image hosting sites are blocked by work-enabled online security options and such, so it's always best to upload to the forum directly. :)
