This is something I've been meaning to do for a long, long time.

The Isambard Kingdom Brunel class, USS Hadrian's Wall.
Designed as a sort of cruiser, come destroyer with close in point defence guns and a turret mounted rail gun on the dorsal hull.
The bridge is up front in a "hammer head" type structure.





This was my inspiration, note the hammer head design up front. The Hadrian's Wall is all but identical in this respect.
