The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Oddly enough, Kevin's pyjamas were pretty close to the screen stuff.

Well I've found this thread particularly interesting and would like to thanks both Paul and Greg for going to the effort of putting it together. Opened my eyes to the vast differences in the product available.

It would be great to have included the fourth (or first, depends how you look at it) product that was available too.

Magnus, It's not mandatory to read every thread. :)

I personally quite value people's opinions. They tell a story that photographs alone can not.

I think the various reviews within this thread, and a number of discussions that have arisen throughout, would tell me everything I want to know if I were looking to buy (I'm not financially in a position to do so right now). It's certainly something I'll remember for the future.

Anyone doing a review is going to "state their opinion" How many times have you heard a bad review of a movie you liked.
We all have our personal likes and dislikes.

Lets not start insulting one another for stating an opinion. If a statement crosses a line the Mods will do something about it.

Now, in my opinion... I like being able to see all the different patterns compared alongside each other to show the
difference between them. When I got my MAA 3 Pats it was the only game in town. Too bad it was near the end of MAA's
involvement in providing items. Knowing if something is prewashed due to the possibility of shrinking, any extra prep needed
(dying), and/or special cleaning instructions is something I want to know about too.

Comparison of MAA 3rd Pattern. 100% Cotton Twill vs. Poly-Cotton Ripstop.

Cotton BDUs have been washed multiple times... lets say... 10 times?

Polycotton haven't been worn and I don't believe I ever washed them. If they
Have been washed, it's been once at most.

I should mention that the camo pattern doesn't quite match up now. I attribute this to some slight shrinkage
from washing/drying the cotton versions. Otherwise they're fine.

Edit: Thread Locked. A few posts deleted that served no purpose other than to irritate people like me.

Look at the pictures and decide for yourselves which BDU pattern/color/shape/taste is right for you.

Currently, only SPAT and AARON are offering similar patterns to the USCM BDUs seen in the film.

Contact them for additional information.
