The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Has anyone noticed the Xeno's are a bit smarter now. and will hide from you when you try and search for them. and even on Easy i still get killed fast in some points.also the scare level is up alot more. if they can tweek the AI and stuff in the main game with the AI from the DLC the game would be so much better.

I thought they'd done that in the last patch?

I certainly noticed the increase in xeno craftiness, especially at hardened and badass.

i have not played the story since i beat it on UBA a while ago. so i couldnt say. but i think we should go on the petition that Moosh is thinking about doing. ill pay for more DLC's if they make them i dont want to see MP die like AvP 2010.

Damn, now I need to get my XBOX online and download it.

May be a dumb question but do you have to have XBOX live to download it or can you just get your XBOX online and get it sans-membership?

Level/Mission, even in the DLC there is a break between each just like in the main story mode itself.

Xenos are definitely smarter and the individual levels/missions are much longer. I found it hard as hell on Recruit difficulty and REALLY missed my arsenal upgrades from the main game. I'd be happy with more campaign-based DLC. Multiplayer has never held my attention so much. I just wish I could unlock more of customization options.

If you've never connected it online, you may get lots of console updates and a few A:CM game updates before being able to buy and download the dlc, so make sure you're connected to a high speed broadband connection, or it'll take days.

I never hooked my Xbox up to the internet (old ones that needed a hard line). I seem to recall I did my system updates from the computer. I downloaded it to the thumb drive then just transferred it via USB into the console.

I have been out of the xbox world a while (like I said, older system so RROD was inevitable), but I dont see why you shouldn't be able to get everything you need that way?

Gold only entitles you to online play and selected demos/videos, plus the other apps like the tv an film ones.

You'll be able to download it no problem :)

As Steve said, if you haven't updated the xbox in a while then I'd advise to start the upgrades then go and do something productive ;)

If you've got a net connection for the PC, then surely it's easier to just connect the console directly?

Here's how to do it the long way:

I'm confused. Does the season pass now INCLUDE the DLC? Or does it just grant a discount to BUY more DLC?
Thanks!

Thanks!

Season pass gets you all the dlc for the price of the pass, which is slightly cheaper than buying them individually.

Example:

Game intends to release four dlc over 12 months, priced at $10 each, total $40.
The season pass costs $35, so you save $5. Once you buy the pass, as each dlc is released, it should show as free, because the cost is part of the pass.

Sometimes there's a problem on the day of release and they still show as to be purchased for $10. If you accept that, you'll be paying for it twice
.
That's where people get confused, thinking the pass just gets them a discount.

Most games say that shouldn't happen if you select them within the game, but might do so if you try to get them from an online store, such as Xbox marketplace or PSN store.

Edit: Xbox A:CM Season Pass is 2400 points.
The four DLC packs;
Bug Hunt: 1200
Reconnaissance Pack: 800
Movie Map Pack: 800
Stasis Interrupted: 800
Total for all four: 3600 points, so you saved 1200 points if you bought the pass instead of buying each dlc as they came out.

Thanks!

So, on top of $100 I paid for the CE, I now have to drop another $35. Damn...

I really only play solo, so I'm wondering if I should just get the newest "Statis Interrupted" DLC?

Or is "Bug Hunt" playable solo (and/or with bots)?

Just get Stasis.

You don't have bots in the multiplayer games like Bug Hunt.

You can play offline/single player, but in Bug Hunt for example, you have to survive 30 waves of enemies, with small amounts of cash/points awarded for kills, but you need lots of cash to open doors, seal off areas and such, so you'd be trying to hack open/weld shut a door whilst the enemy is still trying to kill you, also you'd have nobody to revive you, so I doubt you'd survive many levels.

Gah!

Can't get past a point in the first level where all enemies are WY personnel, including at least one armoured smart gunner, when armour's in short supply and the best weapon I have is a shotgun with limited ammo. :|

Playing on Soldier and may have to drop down to Recruit to get through, but don't want to. :?

Ending up restarting on Recruit, got through it in the end.

Found both audio logs too. :)

The roof?

You start in a room with WY flamer troops patrolling surrounding rooms.

Edit: Probably spoiler-y, so will start a new thread.

I still haven't played Stasis Interrupted DLC yet because of PC Gaming silliness - the audio doesn't work properly for the DLC, but works fine for the main campaign. I lent out my 360 copy of the game; I'll play it when I get it back. :(

Ha. I am still stuck at the boss battle of the power loader and the Raven. (after taking 6ish months off) Best I can do is get the beast in the first headlock with the power loader, then I die soon after from all the standard bugs coming after me. The NPCs are worthless..... :(

I've still not even finished the basic solo campaign!!
I erased everything so a friend could play from scratch, but just not felt motivated enough to get back into it.
