The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Alien War was quite possibly one of the coolest ideas ever. Since I live in the USA I never had the honor of being able to go "experience" it. Then I went to the myspace site and saw that the new version is going to be a traveling exhibit. WOOT. If it comes within a 1000 miles of Portland I'm going!

Pic 3 is something I've wanted to see for a long time in Alien War, and something I always thought would have been a better opening area than "outside the colony"...

AW was and is going to be great.

I do love the outlines of sets they have.
And having it come to the US........I really hope it gets a great reception and makes a ton of money. It deserves to.

I agree. That Alien in stasis would be really creepy.

As for the AVP scenario, I don't think this is a bad idea, considering it will be in addition to the Aliens AW show.
Sure, the film was a let down to most, but prior to that the graphic novels and even some games made for a successful pairing, with a scary atmosphere and some tense action.
If you block AVP from your mind and just think "Aliens meets Predator I/II" it starts to sound exciting again. So I reckon it could be winner.

And I think the variation of the AW show will be good for the likes of us who will probably do this thing more than a few times! Two Alien War shows? You can count me in!
A

P.S. Will there be an official UKCM drop for the opening of this event, anyone?

We're still waiting for Gary to confirm the launch dates, but he told me he'd love to have us along.
( *Fingers crossed it's after my honeymoon*! )

Are you still having your stag do in London, Scapey?
It's on the drop list.

Personally... I think for the bathrooms, they need to have one stall, with a random, once in a while xenomorph that pops out above the person to.... well scare the crap out of them. Would be the best idea ever.

Would it get me a free trip to the UK and unlimited access?

I would mop it with a grin for that...

Looks like the undated stuff's actually from the original London AW - Just spotted two of the drawings in the Trident Aliens UK comic reprint, Vol 2 #13 July 93.
Heh.

Still cool, tho.
