The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I was always hoping for it to be an official drop. Lets blow out for two weekends in a row, then collect ourselves for Leicester.

Besides, Michael Biehn seems to have appeared on the roster for there, too

Out on the street? Very doubtful.

In the venue? Should be okay, but I'll check with the organisers and report back either way.
E-mail sent, awaiting response.

iv never had any problem carrying my pulsey at this event. and as for carrying it around london, its legal as long as its out of sight, preferable locked, and you have a good reason for having it, ie going to an event!

went to an airsoft site in central london once, carrying back with 2 rifles, 2 pistols, a shotgun and load of grenades.. i was crapping myself :P

Hotels, as you'd expect for London, range from about £50 (per person per night) and upwards for two star hotels (more like small B&Bs than actual hotels).

Here's some search results/sites:

I think I will call on my folks for crash-space for this. Live 20 minutes out of Tunbridge Wells, which in turn is an hours train journey to Charing Cross. I think the train ticket will be cheaper than b&b'ing it

Well I WILL be at this one & not Glasgow (lesser of two evils on distance).
I`m coming down with two friends too who are there for autographs etc. Whilst I want to meet up with you guys & also get the lay of the land,so to speak.

I won`t be coming down till Sat Morning, leaving Middlesbrough either on the 6.30 or 7.30 train. So be in London around 9.30 onwards depending.

I`m unsure if I`ll be bringing any of my kit (Armour isn`t finished anyway),as I`ve never attended any Large conventions (only been to small poxy ones in Newcastle).
Will however wear some sort of UKCM attire if I don`t.

So just find you lot & report in when I get there?

I don`t know which hotel I`m at yet,I`ve suggested the one`s in this thread though my friends have a few too,so we`re price looking. I`m hoping the Earl Court bound one`s will win out :D

Anyway I`m Finally going to get to meet some fellow UKCMers :D

Jason

Well at the moment, I really doubt I am going to be able to make it to LFACC.

I will of course let you all know if there is a change of plan.

Would people like me to check with my folks about providing crash space if the cost of accommodation in the big smoke is causing heart palpitations?

Well just to confirm,I`ll be heading to London on Sat 1st leaving Darlington at 7AM.
I`m staying at The Best Western (anyone else there?) Sat night.

So is this official or just to keep a look out for UKCM on walkabouts?

I must admit,as a Re-enactor I`m truely looking forward to the Ray Park (Eastern Martial Arts) vs Master European Martial Artist :D
having several books on European Martial Arts fighting styles & using some,My money is on the European to win in the saber fighting :D
