The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Still early into investigation but appears some radicals murdered a guy in the street.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22630303

May have been an off-duty soldier, but just as likely a civilian who's only crime was wearing a "Help for Heroes" t-shirt.

Once again, I have no words to express my feelings on this.

Just a reminder Marines, if this is a new terrorist pattern, be cautious about where and when wearing uniforms.

I grew up hanging around in Woolwich, the barracks is the oldest military camp in the country, this isn't the place for political comment or debate but .................................................................... animals

Not cool. Clearly the attackers were cowards, and certainly were not soldiers themselves.

Does the UK have the death penalty?

Unfortunatly not. We seriously need to reintroduce public hangings.

Still, if these arseholes pull through and go to prison then thats pretty much a death sentance anyway. An extremist who's killed one of our squaddies wont be able to take a foot outside a locked cell without serious reprocussions..

I don't really agree with the death penalty, too many screw-ups in the past where years after the conviction, it's been shown that the guy was innocent.

Besides, it wouldn't stop guys like this, who want to be martyrs.

Unfortunately there are already reports of retaliatory attacks on mosques. Once again, looks like the innocent Muslim community at large are gonna suffer for the actions of a couple of madmen.

I'm glad they shot them but didn't kill them, they wanted to be martyrs, now they are just murdering animals, and alive they can suffer for a lot longer, lock them up and just throw the key away then let the general prison population do its thing

Although life rarely means life these days and keeping people like this alive is a burden on the country.

In a case like this it's clear they were guilty, hang the pricks.

I still say they should make one of the larger uninhabited Hebridean islands into a prison island.

Do nothing more than build a big wall around it, and occasionally do a food drop in the place.

Death's too good for some people!

I just want these two to spend a long time living with the knowledge that their barbaric crime achieved nothing but to leave them languishing in prison for the rest of their lives.

I want them to know every hour of every day, that what they did achieved nothing for their cause, did not bring terror to the nation, did not effect policy.

I want them to die in prison in obscurity, forgotten by the world.

any of the larger uninhabited islands off the coast of britain would do, leave them there, with like minded individuals. I support our troops.

Stuff the island. Stuff the death sentence. Both too good for them.

Dig a deep hole, just wide enough for the two of them to lie down, but not enough that they can lie straight. Put em in it for the rest of their lives. A small hole to one side of the floor serves as a toilet. Water should delivered by rope and bucket every 3 days, bread to be thrown down to them. The occasional vitamin boost in terms of fruit and veg to keep them alive also. No exercise, no parole, no TV, fook all.

Gives them plenty of time to realise what evil they did.

Evil exists in our society, however becomming evil in the process of dealing with it is not the answer.

I cannot agree with this sentiment more.

By all means, let justice be served, but not vengeance. We cannot deal with hate by responding with hate, or we only prove we're just as bad as extremist claim we are.

We don't have to hate them...but I say allow some good to come of their deaths. Experimental cancer drugs popped into my mind.
