I'm surprised by the lack of response to such a holy grail replica. Any thoughts? Bad economy? Overpriced?

But, I don't think it's over priced, and I know you've taken care of her.

If I were able, I'd happily buy her from you for the price you're asking. Having handled 2 of these, I WANT. BAD.

But, I haven't gotten paid from my company in 4 weeks!!

Historically, spring/summer is a bad time to sell high ticket items. Good for buyers looking to find a deal, bad for sellers. If you can afford to wait, Late October-December beginning of January are the best selling periods.

And it's a nice piece! Good luck with the sale!

That pulse rifle is an absolute beauty!!

Sadly, even if I had the money to buy this pulse rifle I wouldnt do so due to the stricty import laws here in the UK.

Would I run the risk of having this confescated by customs? I need to read the UK guns law thread.

The new bit of law comes into force in October, so there's a couple of months left.

It would be illegal to own in the UK without having it first sent to a proofing house to have it checked and/or deactivated to UK standards as it contains actual firearms.

In fact you'd probably have to have it imported through a gun shop or something for them to send it to the proofing house etc etc.

Sorry, when I saw that it was incapable of firing, I assumed it would be 'safe' to import before October, with the replica law coming in.

I'll know for the future if I need to import any deactivated weapons.

Part of the problem is that different countries define "deactivated" in different ways. So something that is deactivated in the US may not be deactivated in the UK because the way it was deactivated doesn't match.

Don't know if it is true but I have heard that there is enough of a difference in the mandatory steps each country requires that you can buy a deactivated UK weapon and a deactivated US weapon and build a working gun from the parts.

i recently bought a "deactivated" M870 and they chopped it to bits, the barrel and mag tube have been pinned so they cant be removed, they have both been plugged at the receiver end, the firing pin broken, but the worst bit of butchery, they milled a groove along the underside of the barrel talk about making sure.

Holy sh-t!

Knowing a little about dewat guns... The barrel needs to be welded or pinned to the receiver. So another barrel (Cannot) be change out in it's place.
