The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just remember Scapey, there is no problem that can't be fixed with the proper application of C4 and the right paperwork

Thanks - Morgan's been watching Best Of Tiny Tina vids on Youtube to memorise all her lines... I didn't realise this, so when she busted them out on the way back from the park yesterday, I near pissed myself laughing. She's nailing it!

Test fitting the most recent mask pull on the wee man, and I've started on the scope for the Corrosive Teapot :)

Image

Image

The scope is a hose clamp, and cut-down pair of binoculars from that mecca of budget prop builders... Poundland! :D

BTW, I mentioned that the Teapot is for Lauren - she's got a Facebook page now for all her costuming, and it'd be awesome of y'all could go check it out.
If you like it, please Like it! :)

https://www.facebook.com/LoreleiCostuming

[Few hours later]

Getting there with the scope! - Just gotta Cel Shade it, and attach it I think :)

Pretty much finished the Teapot's scope now - it's a half a pair of toy binoculars, with the rubber grip removed, and part of a toy telescope in ace of the original eyepiece, cut down to fit the stepped contour where the focus mech sat before.

Image

( Wasn't gonna use the telescope eyepiece, but IMHO it looks better with it than without... Albeit slightly longer than the reference pic's scope. )

Thanks!
Lauren found a group that are planning BL2 costumes, so we'll keep you informed :D

Also - Almost finished! Just a few touchups and little niggles to fix and we are DONE!
