The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

You will need to come up with a unit designation (ie): 4th Batt - 3rd Reg.

Are you looking to do the traditional Shield with the strips? What about stars? How many? Do you want one in the upper middle that will form a point on top?

In the CMTM they have nicknames, but not official ones.

If someone were to make a patch available for the USS Chulamanis, I'd buy that and wear it in a heartbeat.

Since I unilaterally promoted myself to Captain in the USCM after having been a real Sargeant in the USAF I decided to base myself on the U.S.S. Nemesis as platoon Cmdr.

Yes, :) I'd also be interested in 3x "USS Chulamanis" patches. :delta:
What about "USS Sephora" patches?

A mustang's a special case. Either an officer you can respect - or a sell out. :P

Likewise- I promoted myself to Lieutenant, based on my 'rank' in the work environment for a Global Military Supplier (no names!) but more accurately because I'm most dangerous when provided with a map and a compass (as the old gag about 1st Lt's goes ;) )

That, and I'm the least useful component of any military engaugement but I can fill in a mean form double-time. :D

No idea! (he said diplomatically...)

Also note that it's all in jest. My short time in the Navy and limited interactions with military types since have left me with the distinct feeling that both stupidity and competence come in all sizes, shapes, uniforms and ranks, pretty much equally. But since I'm a corporal here, I'm sure as hell not gonna waste an opportunity to diss the brass...

One thing i have learned from Officers is you have two types. You have the type that are just Kiss Asses and then the ones that dont care and want to make there troops happy. That goes for OCS and Mustangs. i have come to luv the Elisted to Officer ones since they started where you are. But some OCS ones are kool as hell, AKA the Shooters we have onboard Aircraft carriers they are pilots on a sea duty and most are laid back. What kills me are Mid-Shipmen i can rant about them. But i think its about time to make up a ship for my little Crew here in San Diego.
