I used to play PC games ages ago, but as a Mac user the choices have always been extremely limited. I now use a laptop & trackpad exclusively and haven't even touched a mouse in years. When the first Playstation console came out the kind of games I liked playing weren't even available for PCs, so I gradually switched to console gaming.
If A:CM had also been made for Mac OS 10 I might've consider buying it for the sharper graphics and faster, smoother frame rate, but I honestly don't find enough of a difference between the PC and PS3 vids to make me wish I was playing the PC version instead. I find PS3's graphics are acceptable and the game runs smoothly enough for me. I've only encountered a few brief lags in a couple of instances, but not enough to spoil it for me.
I've gotten so used to using the analog controller over the years that it's like an extension of my body. Going back to using a mouse would really take some getting used to after all this time. If I live long enough maybe I'll get to play games wearing VR goggles, with interactive holographic 3D images and the works, like the future-tech gear they had in "Johnny Mnemonic". Now
that would take gaming to a whole new level I could really get into.
