The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

ok while reading over the thread again i was confused by this. if i read it right does it mean if you have done other SCI-FI cosplay's at a con you can get certain ribbions still. if so which ones would be able to get cuz reading them they say Member but later say In Uniform. just wondering due to i have done SDCC in Halo 3 ODST armor, AnimeExpo as a Reach ODST and then SDCC as a Reach ODST and Hunk RE, and Pax Prime as a Reach ODST. Please some1 shed some light on this and then my Wife which she will make an account soon has ODST's and Mass Effect at same cons.

3. Where "member" is specified, these decorations are open to uniformed members as well as those who served as opposing force in the guise of a known and recognized extra-terrestrial.

It means either the USCM uniform (armour, BDU, Class C, expanded universe creation...) or one of the OpFor from the franchise: Xenomorphs or Predators. The use of 'member' here is to avoid leaving the bugs and preds hanging without ribbons should they decide to rejoin the side of the... expendable assets later and wear Marine gear.

So, unless someone official comes up with a Halo/Aliens crossover, nope, deployment as ODST won't land you USCM ribbons. :P

So could you add that when you have a moment too, please?

Thanks very much!
