The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

and there has to be other sharks in the tank in regards to other companies who may overstep their bounds these other companies need to have their own armies since they don't have the pull of weyland-Y to call in government favors. I can't think of any other companies mentioned in the 'verse except maybe Chigusa Corp. from the AvP comics. There is probably friction in one form or another all the time

There was the corporation in the Colonial Marines comic too (the 10 issue one I mean). I can't think of the name though. They had their own "security force".

Armour Stage 2 and Mask Stage 1

I feel that the mask combined with a balaclava and full set of gloves removes the humanity from the character by covering all the skin. Buying a new set of black BDU's with mandarin collar once the helmets sold, will post pics once its done.

Looks very damn omininously cool!

Add the Marine ab pad, knees and greaves to tie it all togther in the USCM Mythos and you've got a winner, winner!

Mount the USCM camera to further tie in.

Yes, Pulse Rifle must be black.

What about a Weyland Yutani on the front of the armor, where the name tape would be?

Armour wise I am trying to keep light weight and minimal but I am considering the leg Armour.

Yeah I am thinking a big white WY logo on the Armour as well.

Understand, butthe additional armor really ties it into the "USCM equipped by W-Y" bit. It shows a pattern if you will that links it all together.

one thing i dont thing there would be a WY logo on it. would you really want some1 to know who you are if some1 gets away. it would be bad for business... but thats my two cents. but the light armor is just preference i know my Grunt will not have legs for a while.

Disturbing for sure, but I think the inhumanity of the first style fits better. The whole thing looks good, but it seems like there's a bit... too little. I think you need some tactical webbing, pouches, and such. You also have that loose buckle on the shoulder that I'm not sure what you're planning to do with.

I like this idea, perhaps you could put a camera on a small steady cam like mount on your shoulder in place of a light?.

I wonder if you could encorporate a bit of the helmet style from the commandos in Alien3? Either the plating over the lower face or the flip-down eye protection or something. Totally your choice, but it might be cool.

They also had WY logos all over them, but they were "white on white" so they're hard to pick out. My point being that wearing the WY patch is certainly legit.

looks great dude!

i've always thought about making a set of armor based off the security guards in AVP2. black armor and red/urban camo. and of course, M41-A stealth

Looking good mate :D

Though WY will have a better array of armour than the USCM if you wanted to drop the M3 altogether.
