The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I doubt they're fixed yet, but in the official forums, when asked, they said:
Quote:
Nothing official yet, but botman a Gearbox programmer estimated they might be similar to Borderlands.

Borderlands is this:
Quote:
*2.4 GHz Pentium 4 Processor or equivalent
*NVIDIA Geforce 8600 GS/ATI Radeon X850 Series
Pixel shader version 3.0 or better'' (ONLY required to activate certain high-level graphics features)
*DVD-ROM drive (Not required if game is purchased from an online store.)
*8 GB of hard disk space

25-Serria: way to go! It would be awesome if every game shop asked their local grunts to help out with this. Get some photos!

Some fun stuff going down at Comic-Con. If someone's there and can grab an extra Syd Mead print, I'd be grateful ;)

If they'd used Trevor's voice in the game, they could have had him doing similar signings at the UK promotional events. :|

Sorry have not really been around a while. Has anyone here actually played this yet? Does anyone know whether it will support playstation move? Im hoping there will be a limited edition pulse rifle sharp shooter. Little chance i think but would be instant buy for me. Imagine if the game hooks up to the ps vita and uses it as a motion tracker using the vita gyro sensors.

I have preordered the special/ limited edition of the game from amazon

No mention of Move, Vita or Kinect play.

A few of the AL (not me) have played the multiplayer, usually team deathmatch (Marines vs Xenos) and it's fun to watch. :)

You can't really base the whole game, single and multiplayer, on just afew multiplayer games of the alpha code though.

The likenesses are fascinatingly right and yet wrong at the same time. Maybe it is the vaguely cartoony quality that makes them seem odd, as they are instantly recognizable as the characters. I wonder how much the actors are getting paid for that?

That pic would actually make a pretty cool Wallpaper for your PC! EDIT It DOES make a great wallpaper! ;-)

As for the characters they're all very recognisable except for Hudson who looks a little chubby to me and not instantly identifiable as Bill Paxton. :(

Also just for the hell of nitpicking the names on the armour are white not black and it's hard to say for sure but they look like they are also in a stereotypical War Movie Serif-Stencil Font not the USCM Armour Font which is odd as they are obviously aware of the font as the names beneath the characters are in something approximating USCM Armour Font. :?

Just Saying! ;-)

Looking at the customisation options in this pic:

http://www.gamestop.com/mrkt/landing/al ... _bonus.jpg

It looks like you can play a female Marine. :)

The waters are still pretty muddy around that. Check out this link for more (and a shot of one of AL's own Marines):

Comic-Con today at the SEGA booth. Syd Mead signed prints of his awesome Sulaco art, and my friend snapped this picture of the Queen. Truly wish I could have been there...
