The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Alright, Spook?
Welcome to the 'Wall!

Be careful, man... The last dropship pilot to wear that lid gave birth to a bloody great toothy hissin' thing.
We kept it, it's called Angus.

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I am not sure where to post an introduction so I thought I would do it here. I am from N.S., Canada. Putting together a USCM costume has been a goal of mine since the movie came out and I am very close to that achievement. I would be interested in the Canadian UACM patches if any more are made?

Hey AL, long time lurker here. Finally decided to sign up.

I'm from Philadelphia and I'm a graphic designer by trade. Any other PA members here?

Either way, hoping to learn and eventually build my own PR, some Marine armor, and what ever else I may need (maybe a motion tracker?). And of course contribute anyway I can.

EDIT: Also, where do I sign up to get my Service Number? :)

Thanks!

Hi everyone on the AL universe,

As per most people on this thread, I have been a long time lurker of the boards and thought it was about time I bit the bullet and made my presence known.

My names Dave, been a long time fan of the Alien films and ever since my trip to Alien War for my 14th birthday have been in awe of everything related to the Colonial Marines. Picked up the Tech Manual not long after that and it has remained a staple of my bedside reading ever since.

I was fortunate enough for my 30th birthday in Jan this year to be given a comet miniatures pulse rifle kit. although not the most accurate or easiest kit to assemble, I have absolutley fallen in love with it. its still very much a WIP but have used a lot of the tips and ideas mentioned on the boards to ensure I shall hopefully end up with a finished product that I can be proud of, especially as I'm a novice at modelling and this is the first resin kit I have ever worked with.

Anyway, I'm glad to finally be part of the community now and look forward to chewing the fat with you guys!
