As always when in doubt I try you guys. I need a pic on the starboard lower weapon station of the 1:1 DS-01 for my Aliens research. Not any of the smaller DS models used in the film but the Sulaco set 1:1. If it's publically sensitive you can send it by mail with a huge waterstamp. Just need it for internal confirmation on some missile details.

Jonesy - not sure what exactly it is you're looking for - are you looking for a photo of the model or the full size set? What area specifically? Not sure what the "lower weapon station" is? The missile pods?

The upper row of the starboard forward weapons station has a differend configuration than the portside one. It contains 3 Sidewinder-like missiles instead of the rocket pod and the two inner stations are fitted with the same cone-tipped bombs/missiles as in the lower row instead of the two round-head missiles.

Im looking for a picture showing the small foldable stubwing that is filled with missiles on the 1:1 Dropship model used in the hangar scene. As the camera is always on the port side (pilots left) of the Drop ship we never see the starboard (pilots right) weapon pods/weapon station on the 1:1 scale Drop ship.



Correct Stafan, that is the armament of the DS 01. We see it clearly on the 1:12 and 1:4 scale Drop ship models and now I want to make sure that the 1:1 also have it. There is rumors saying that the port side of the Drop ship 01 actually has the Drops Ship 02 starboard armament due to Camerons sense of detail, as this side was used as 02, hence not showed in the film. But I have some information leaning toward that they could actually change armament on the Drop ships if needed to shoot 01 from starboard side.

So to complete my Aliens Investigation Report I need evidence telling me one way or the other. Most likely by a pic.
