I've been looking at the patches listed on colonialmarines.net and came across one that really sparked my interest. The listing on the site says it's designed by Maurice Perkins, and it's highlighted in Blue with an underline like a link, but doesn't actually have a link that I can find.

Here's a picture of the patch I'm talking about. It's got the Eagle Head, "USCM" printed and it's set on Woodland MARPAT camouflage.


My searches haven't brought me much, so any info on where to find this patch or how to contact the maker of it would be appreciated!

Maurice sent me the patch design many months ago asking for it to be listed.
I'm out of town this week, but I try to remember to check my archives this coming weekend to see if I can get his details.

Usually I add a link on where to get the patch, but this one I didn't.....I'm wondering why.
It's either a made patch or a good photoshop image Maybe that's why I didn't link to it...

I happen to know Maurice Perkins. Kind of a nutty guy. Anyway, the patches do exist and aren't just photoshop images. Wohoo!




They're made of real deal Marpat fabric and silk screened. Was a major pita to get them made. Was coincidentally browsing the forum last night and found this thread, quite a surprise. Glad someone likes the patches.

How much and who do we send the money to?

Hey, you never know what the future holds. If I had the funds, there'd be a patch in all kinds of camo patterns. One in the actual Aliens movie pattern- that would be something.

Do you prefer patches (except screen used ones) with velcro or sew on? Or do most of you have the possibility to sew on the velcro hook yourselves, if you need it? Then you would have time to decide.

Here's a small test run I've had made. Tan background, white eagle, brown border stitching. Just finished.

I bought two patches from Maurice, and they are SWEET! I will post pics once I have a spare moment.
