The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

PFC Cliffe just back from the armoury. All painted up and ready for active duty SIR!!

It's been a long slog, I saw you guys at the NSC in '09, rode the Alien Experience and that spurred me into finishing a marine costume that started in about '04.
Here's me pleased as punch!

Thanks to all here for advice given, help at this years NSC drop, excellent items created and sold in the PX and basicaly being an awesome bunch! :D

Specifically:
Spat for the (actually really comfortable) armour set
MAA for a perfectly fitting set of BDUs and VP-70 holster
Armourer for his excellent dogtags
Matsuo for his shoulder lamp kit
Cpl Smith for firing his MR tracker over the pond
Noble all for his amazing pieces (G&P mag insert, pulsemeter strap)
Cpl Potter for letting his headset stay in the group
Vito for an ACTUAL racal (thought I'd never get my hands on one!!)
Sgt Baldwin for a service number and looking after our records
Abe/Harry/anyone else responsible for running this board

Basically thanks everyone!!

Here's looking forward to joining you all soon in full kit

Thanks guys, Kevin - the pulsey is a Tolyo marui thompson with G&P kit, as for the pouch - I didn't realise that was where it settled, it's only on a couple of straps and moves around on it's own (embarrassingly) oh well!

More close ups.................

Seeing your face light up when I asked you to take over from an AWOL Data in the AE was a something I'll remeber for a good while.
You did us proud with no practice, no preparation. You just grabbed the role with both hands and took it for your own.

Welcome aboard marine!

Thanks Winch, I thought long & hard and scoured the internet for stuff like that for at least 6 months - then sat there yesterday morning with paint in hand hoping I wouldn't stuff it up!!

Glad it looks ok :D :D
