The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Just a note to say that just over a year ago when this print was released, I went with the screen-accurate though-you'd-have-to-look-hard-to-see-it "Weylan-Yutani" logo, rather than the Aliens "Weyland-Yutani".
However a year later, with the Anthology now out and it saying Weyland-Yutani everywhere on menus etc (maybe it'll be Weylan-Yutani for Ridley Scott's prequels...I don't know, probably not).... if anyone really wants a print with "Weyland-Yutani" and has already bought one from me, please do PM me and you can buy them at cost price (i.e. what it's costs me to get them printed, packaged and mailed).
Some people may be bothered about it, others not, but thought I'd give the option and offer it. Note it'll still have the Alien 'wings' emblem like the one in my sig and not the large "W"....that'll be on the Sulaco prints.
Those that haven't got one, they are available at the usual price, again PM me for details. I'm planning on capping these in April '11.
Thanks.... :-)

I actually like the distinction between Weylan-Yutani for Alien and Weyland-Yutani for Aliens. It's one of those little idiosyncrasies that only die-hard fans usually notice. Sure it's a major continuity error, but who cares.

Looking forward to your Sulaco prints when they are available.

I always think of it as a company name change/re-branding that happened in the 57 years Ripley was asleep.

Well, no one in the first film mentions it by name, and we only see it (barely) on a computer screen with the "D" dropped, so we could possibly explain it as a computer glitch.

Re. Nostromo Blueprints
Just a note to say that I am now capping the Nostromo Blueprints at 100.
The last few months have been busy and I'm relocating back to the UK in the next couple of months, so if anyone would like a print, let me know before they are all gone, becasue after that or after I move, that's it.
When back in the UK I will be looking for printers etc in preparation for the Sulaco exterior prints.
Many thanks,
-SJ

Those are absolutely incredible. I can't wait to see what you'll do with the Sulaco!

Thank you. And I'm sorry the Sulaco is taking so frigging long. Life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes, but, family first. 8)

Could I get a high res version of the blue prints?

I'm thinking of doing something similar to this for the Nostromo and Sulaco:

Clicky for a massive hoooge pic:

(For you nitpickers: The spelling mistakes in the linked MSD are intentional. Little in-joke between me and the person who comissioned me to do it.)

Padsbrat: ran across this old post recently. I think I found your Sulaco MSD and it is fantastic! How are you doing with the Nostromo MSD?

Not sure on Padsbrats, but a group of us have gotten together on Propsummit and are getting information together in preparation for drafting up the Nostromo interior blueprints.
I have A-Deck drawn up.
