Today I had a nice surprise when my G&P Pulse Rifle stock broke. What a joke that was. I had the stock fully extended with the base resting on my leg and the gun tip facing upward, then all of a sudden (CrAcK), the stock collapsed. I discovered that the small piece of plastic used to keep the locking pin in place cracked completely off inside.
Call this cheap part number #2, the 1st still being the magazine clip (Cover) lock assembly.
I had no choice but to perform surgery. Boy did I feel sick to my stomach. $600 bucks of rattling plastic.
Will, things took a turn for the better when I decided to open her up. With an Allen wrench in one hand and a screw driver in the other, I went for the gold. I was amazed at just how easy it was to disassemble the G&P kit without weakening and/or damaging any parts.
The locking pins located around the perimeter of the Shroud separated rather easily and re-assembly was just as painless.
Not only did I fix the broken part, but also removed the cheesy ass shot gun shell and installed an aluminum grenade.
Now that surgery is over, my PR is better suited for some field punishment.
I’ve taken the time to assemble a step-by-step walk-through of the above-mentioned project.
