The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

How about a version without the GL and a RIS-type forend instead?

Just a thought.

Did anyone ever attempt a bulpup pulse rifle as a finished prop?

Bullpups are an interesting concept but I don't think the reduced overall length when using the rifle really makes up for shortcomings inherent in their designs like awkward mag changes, crappy triggers, lack of adjustable length of pull, awkwardness when trying to transition to a different shoulder to shoot around cover/corners (or for all left handed shooters in many designs), etc. But again, they are an interesting concept though. Matsuo's quick and dirty design has the charging handle and part of the receiver where a good portion of the barrel length would go though. Why not have the entire Thompson receiver to the rear?
