I went to leave a PM for somebody and now this Yuku nonsense comes up?!? I have to reg for Yuku to leave a bloody PM???

I think I figured out what's going on. Kev, have you registered for Yuku? I don't think so. When I click on your name, I get the ezboard link I'm used to where you can send a PM. However, I was trying to PM Dave and got a Yuku page where there IS no PM functionality (at maybe without your own log-in). I looked at Willie's name, and he's got the same thing (and the same friends listed, and a few of the other stats are the same). So I think if you sign up for that thing (why the f#@k does ezboard think there needs to be ANOTHER of this time of thing????) then people not registered can't PM you

Pretty much EzBoard has decided that they have advanced the technology here as far as they can. So they created a new technologybase from the ground up. That is Yuku. Eventually everything will be migrated over there once they are done.

Or at least that's the official word.

I'm so loved. Dom wants to PM me.

I was looking into this issue reported here;

when I saw this topic. The PM issue brought up by Jesse is one of the biggest pains for people who want to use the new Yuku profiles. It is also a barrier for getting people to switch their account over to Yuku.

Because of this issue we are currently working on a system the will allow for direct messaging between the Yuku and ezboard PM systems. Right now this is still in the development. I will keep you posted on our progress.



As far as the inital bug report was concerned I have posted an update in the topic over at the bugs base.
