Last year i did the same thing , even before dcon has there site rates available i called the hilton direct , last years rates were 184 per night this year its 188 plus tax , i have stayed at the hilton all 3 years , and imho its the best elevator wait is minimal and the stairs are always easily found . they are always prompt with extra towels , and stuff . anyway with it being the 25th and everyone talking i thought i would let you guys know you can book right now .and save yourselves the hassle .and this last year when taxes came back i called and paid for the room , so all we needed was spending money. 1 404 659 2000 . just tell them its for dragoncon . good luck guys

oh , but they take 216.00 ( 1 night ) down right now and its non refundable ,which is tough after spending what we just spent ) but im sure we are going back ,plus we are gonna save some by drivin,g down this year ,so for us its all about being prepared . so if your not sure you are going , you might want to wait until the other hotels open up

Guys, how does the Hotel take it if you book a room for one person, but have someone sharing?

For instance my current quote:

So, 1 person would be booked. But it is a room with two double beds, so I can get 1 or 2 people to share, dividing the £701 amongst us.
Does the Hotel allow this or is it a big NO NO?

I think its per room with up to four peeps sharing, should say on their site somewhere.

Always say 2 people per room or else you get charged for additional occupation. As far as they're concerned, you have two guests on two double beds.
