The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

This helmet is made up of an original M1 helmet. It needs painting but has a cast (original pull) helmet cam installed and the front molding has been made. It does not have the ear defender but the helmet section has been acurately cut out ready for one.

There should be some interest from you guys who want a very accurate helmet.

Pics available from srbryant@btopenworld.com

Looking for reasonable offer

This helmet was originally made to display my screen used Frost camo cover by a friedn of Harry's. I also owned another original Terry English helmet and this was displayed next to it. It does not have the lobster plates although some of the board members out there could definitely provide them easily.

I'm really digging the display base too. :)

Was that scratch built?

The helmet was scratch built. The helmet cost £30 alone and just cutting the side out for the ear defender was a hell of a lot of work to make such a clean cut. The base is not included but I know a man who makes them.

I am interested but have a few questions.

Is the helmet shell and original metal M1? I only ask because it looks like a different material judging by the pics due to its colour and texture.

Is the camera attached to the helmet?

Does it come with the plate that would cover the earpiece?

Are you in the UK?

Cheers

The helmet and inner lining are an original M1 helmet. It has been painted black as it originally was put together by a top prop master to display my screen used Frost Camo cover (with burn marks).

Cutting the section out for the ear piece involved a hell of a lot of work. The camera is firmly attached to the helmet and all that is needed is the ear piece and defender/mic for a completely accurate helmet. I did own a complete original Frost costume/armor and this helmet was displayed alongside it.

I am in the UK.

contact me at srbryant@btopenworld.com if interested.
