The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Anyone know if AI is still being published? I tried several time to get to their web site but it failed out.
There's no place in our little hamlet that carries it, and I can only buy it in a biggger city, and the
big box bookstore I went to didn't have it in stock. :(

they still print it, and its quite easy to get here in England. I stopped buying it about 6 months back though. They've got into an annoying habit of just reprinting old articles when they dont have anything better to write about

Hi Russ,
their website is up now. It's been a while since I looked at it myself and I noticed there is now a Digital Version on offer for viewing online via the site! It is a sample version of Volume 5 Number 3 (don't you hate it when magazines don't put a DATE!) if that helps?

Hi again Russ,
I just checked the online sample again and it must be a fairly old one, or else they don't update the editorial page very often, because it lists a member of staff who I know left the company last summer! :o

On a related issue I found another Airsoft/Gaming Magazine in my local WHSmith over the weekend called Take AIM it's published in Ireland and it seems it's been around for 10 issues which appear to be bi-monthly.

It seems to be roughly split 50/50 between Virtual/Video Gaming and Airsoft with a strong Irish slant. I bought a copy and according to the pricing on the cover it is available in the US too! :D

Check out their site at http://www.takeaim.ie/ rather than me trying to describe it in great detail! ;)
