I thought i better speak up on here since its almost a week to go haha, myself and "grid" have a room booked at the beckton, if anyone else who's going from the UKCM are in this hotel lemme know and we can give you a lift to the excel centre. I'm gunna get changed at the hotel as im not too keen on getting ready into my pred in a room full o guys !!

Hey. As far as I know, none of us are in the Beckton Premier Inn - it was full before we could make bookings.

We're booked into the Ibis that is across from the ExCeL.

I have a spare room. Do you want to cancel your booking at Beckton and take a room between the two of you? I posted details earlier in this thread.

Paul phoned me the other day with the same offer lol, Grid and myself are actually coming down on friday and staying till monday, so we've got a fri to sun night booked at beckton, we tried to book extra nights at ibis but thats full now, i think its just easier to leave the arrangements as they are with it being so close now. Were gunna drive across to the expo and ive offered to pay for the parking fee so thats all okay on our side

Our rooms are for Friday+Sat only. You could change your booking at Beckton to be for Sunday night only?

DLR from Beckton is easy and fun in costume provided you have a minder. And much cheaper than parking at ExCeL.

Since we're so close, I'm not sure when we'll be there - we normally aim to be there at the opening of the show - 9am. I'll PM you my cell number.

Brill cheerz pug ive just looked up a hotel for the nights we would need and its a £100 extra but i think it would be worth it, i was told its fully booked but according to the website its not. But your right we could do that.

Correction: Show opens 9am on Saturday, but 10am on Sunday.

ive asked Grid about the room and i think its gunna come off as too expensive for us, its cheaper at 160 just to stay at the beckton

Not sure what my arrangements are going to be for the sat night yet, I may head home or crash at my sisters. I'm going to play this one by ear!
