The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Sad that we often learn so much about a person only after they're gone.

Yeah, I just finished working on a drawing for him, and not dried eyed at that.

That's so cool that they did a memorial page for him.

That`s a fantastic tribute to Chris from Starship Modellers.

He certainly affected so many people in his hobbies & with his personality.

For myself and the members of OSW, I express the regret and sorrow over the loss of a good man and a good hand.

Damn it. Here I was popping in to slag off AVP2, to find the worst news I've ever read on this board.

R.I.P. Chris, glad to have known you briefly, in this strange format. By all accounts and personal impression you're a great guy and it's been wonderful to see the effect you've had on so many people here for so long.

just got around to this:

A Spoiled World

Sometimes when you look around the world

you find things that aren't wonderful

you find that it isn't fine.

The world can be cruel, harsh, and painful.

Sometimes it makes you sad.

Sometimes it makes you angry.

Sometimes it makes you cry.

And surely it is right to rage over the things that are wrong.

17 days?.........

In respect for & in honor of FNG Chris, soon after he passed I changed my MySpace page's "face" pic to one of Chris marching with the USCM flag at Dragon Con. I changed my page name to "R.I.P. FNG Chris".

I wasn't sure when it was appropriate to take down the pic & change my page's name. I mean, I'm sure we will all miss him for a long time to come.

I told myself I would keep Chris's pic up on my page until Sharpie (Dom) was able to fill up the Memorial Plaque for Chris with signatures. I see that has finally come to fruition.

Sharpie, thanks for putting that together. I hope the final product comes out well.

Best wishes,
Jason Tayros

I'll be creating a memorial page on my MSN website. I'll provide the link when it's done.

Man, this has been tough. Just when I'm thinking I'm doing okay, I was cleaning up old PM's, and I came across several of Chris's PM's...
