I'd like to continue to thank you all for your donations and signatures. I will be collecting signatures until 01/11 (unless there are any in the mail) and donations until 01/15.

The get well card and donations will be sent by 01/16.

DO NOT send cards or flowers to the Hospital as the ICU will refuse them. But if anyone is in the Colorado area and wants to visit, use the info above.

You can visit him 24 hours a day, except from 6:45 - 7:45 for shift changes.

Ok, if anyone wants to get a card or flowers to Chris and Sherrie this week, I have been authorized to give out their home address. Just PM me for it, as I don't want to post it on the 'net for all to see.

A card would be best, as the flowers can't come to the ICU, and no one is really going to be home to take care of them, but I'm sure cards will be read to Chris, and that's got to be good for helping him fight to hang on.

I can only say that Chris is one of the finest I've ever met, truly a good guy. I've enjoyed many a chat with him at Dragoncon about our mutual military experiences, and I look forward to many more.

More bad news I'm afraid...

Derek just got off the phone with Chris' brother... His doctor doesn't recommend recussitation if he slips away again. His wife Joy (please note that this is her real name) is seeking a second opinion.

Dom beat me to it...but...


Bad news...

just talked to Chris' brother and he says its not looking good for our boy...the doctors are pretty much wanting to give up and he said that Joy was down trying to get a second opinion...I feel like I just got gut punched...first he's fighting the nurse, now this...

Please Chris hang on!!

The latest news I got this morning is that Chris has a contagious flu-like virus. Everyone visiting him has to wear a mask and gown now to get in the room.

Sherrie being told to get a second opinion was a few days ago. I haven't heard anything about that coming up again, but it's possible.
