4th January 2008: Today at work I received a call from Cherrie ( Chris “FNG’s” Chulamanis wife) and she informed me as of Wednesday morning Chris suffered a major heart attack and has been in the hospital since…..she said it didn’t look good…. I’ve known and loved this man for 4 years and I and sending my heart to him and my prayers, please keep him in your hearts and prayers |

Brian, when you speak to Cherrie please get the address of the hospital he is at and possible visiting times. They are only a few hours drive from here and if I can get there I will. This is terrible news. Chris went out of his way to talk to me about USCM costuming and his work with his scale APC when I drifted over to the table at D*C last summer. He really sparked my interest in continuing with this costume. My thoughts are with him and his family, as well as all of you who have known Chris much longer than I have. I'll hope for the best. |

Chris' wife also now has Derek's number also. Turns out she got Brian's number because they were talking on the phone and his number was still on the caller ID. THANK YOU BRIAN!!! I just spoke with Rick Y who talked to Derek but I won't post anything as Derek has the full details. |

This is soooo fuct. This is the worse news I've received since my grandmother died. I'd like to organize a floral gift to be sent over to him... if anyone would like to chip in, please send by Paypal to my email below. Ideally, I'd like to place the order by 04H00 GMT. I spoke to our good friend for a solid hour a week before this happened... my God.
