The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

We need to get more vids - in costume or not!

Hopefully not too late...

Also still not sure the best format to make sure it can be delivered. If anyone has the means to convey the video, let me know if the youtube is ok or if you need the original file.

http://youtu.be/jrCuPtm-z78

Be warned its pretty terrible and apologies in advance to the entire country of England for the accent...

Nice work and believe me, he really will like that and appreciate the time and effort you put in as well. Thanks man.
Keep 'em coming folks. They don't all have to be as super as bigbisont's video, even a quick get well soon on your phone will be good enough.

Some good news to report. Trevor is making good progress. He can move both his legs now, he's lost some weight which has helped and his speech is almost 100%. I saw him Saturday and was pleasantly surprised to see how well he's doing – better than the experts had anticipated.

My friend's partner was found last week unconscious in his bedroom after having a stroke, unfortunately he was not found soon enough and he is currently in the hospital with a very low chance of survival, even if he does survive he has suffered severe damage, so I thank the gods that Trevor was found in time and I hope he has a speedy and complete recovery

Really very sorry to hear that. I hope he pulls through and is able to recover, against the odds.

Just got back from seeing Trevor. :)

He's coming on well, even had a walk up and down the ward when the physio ladies turned up whilst I was there. :)

His left arm and hand will need most work, but that'll come with time and keeping up the exercise.

Trevor reckons that the docs say he can go home by Friday, so that's good to hear. :D

Great video Bigbisont!

Great news too PVB. A question: if I sent him a letter and he checked out of hospital before it arrived would they forward it to him? I don't know how long the post will take, but I'd rather my note got lost than Trevor spend another day there!

Not sure myself.

If you sent it first class tomorrow, it'll likely get there Wednesday or early Thursday, so it's cutting it a bit fine.

Update on PVB's post. Trevor is doing well as Steve said and now he's moving on to a recovery unit in Brentwood, Essex.
By the way, PVB went in costume and Trevor was banging on about it for a while so he was humbled and really impressed. Well done Steve.

I've had a good few videos in now, including a a great team effort from the UKCM from their drop last weekend to those in America with similarly ambitious messages, all great stuff.
So I'll wait another week just in case anyone else wants to contribute. They can be as simple and quick as you like, and shot on anything from a webcam to a smart phone. Quality is not an issue so upload or pm me anything you can. I know it will be much appreciated by the big marine!

I've changed this thread to be temporarily 'sticky' for a while, at least until Trevor is out of hospital.

They changed their minds and have decided to keep him in hospital for the time being, so I'm not sure when he will go to Brentwood and if that's still planned but I'll let you know when I do.
I know he'd always be happy to see someone from the AL.

I'm going to edit the videos together next Friday (4th) and present them to him on Saturday 5th March, so there's still time to make a greeting for Weirzbowski.

Cheers
