The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

Not much I really could add to this, and I don't have any way of getting anything uploaded. >.<

I do hope the best for him and his family & a speedy recovery from this.

ADC: thanks for getting right on top of this and keeping us informed. I'll try to throw a video together (in uniform) ASAP to show some support from the colonies. Hospitals suck.

Nice video Christian!

Please guys, let's have some more.

Crappy sound and minimal lighting, but it was fun to do! I really hope it puts a smile on his face.

Ive got kind of a wild idea for a video that I will put together when I get off work. If it doesn't come across too "psycho in his basement" I'll be posting it here hopefully in time.

In any case please do pass along my best wishes to the most under-appreciated Colonial Marine. Get well soon Mr. Steedman.

Hey Terran, will do.
If it means waiting a bit longer for videos then that's ok as he's gonna be there for a few weeks.

Terran, I hope your "Ski" action figure will be prominently displayed in the video!

As for the "psycho in the basement", maybe yours can offset the "loony in the attic" vibe my unfortunately has...

No worries Frank, I'll get your well wishes to him.

Today I recieved emails for Trevor from Sigourney Weaver, Colette Hiller, Ricco Ross and Jenette Goldstein all with kind messages.

Another reason to appreciate this film and cast.

Anyone else wanting to leave a message, I'm taking a card over tomorrow so just post here if you want to be on it. I'll get the hospital postal address in case anyone wants to send their own cards or letters (or wants to visit him).
Let's face it, there's not much to do when one is laid up so I'm sure he'd appreciate any correspondence.
Still a week to make a video message if you're inclined.

Hi ADC,
hope I'm not too late to get on the card if I am no worries I'm gonna try and put together a video before I leave for America on Tuesday!

I've also mentioned about Trevor being a "man down" to Al Matthews on Facebook.

I have posted Lance facebook page about Trevor on Jennifer Blanc Biehn facebook page , she will pass on the message to Micheal and she is praying for trevor , so it looks like now almost all the cast know of Trevor's situation and are all sending messages

@Winch, no problem, you're on the card now – thanks for mentioning to Al Matthews.

@Glenn, same to you mate, that's great (I left Facebook over a year ago so I can't contact anyone that way anymore; I can still access the Alien Encounters page although it is limited to that page alone, so thanks).
It's good the news is getting around, it will surely give him a boost.

Quick update – visited Trevor last night with Darren (FriendlySkies) and his son Kaan. Trev's speech has much improved since I first saw him and he seemed a lot better all round. Still a long road ahead of course but he's very positive mentally, so all good signs I guess.

Put all your messages together on a card (images attached) and he really beamed when he read them all, and asked me to relay his thanks to you all, he said you really made his night. It gave him a big smile – from what I could make out!

Ttskmaster (Woody) wrote an A4 page worth of stroke jokes which Trevor loved and especially Woody's comment about Trevor's lip now making him suitable to stunt double for Sylvester Stallone
The doctor's are encouraged by his progress.

Printed out the emails from Cynthia Scott, Colette Hiller, Ricco Ross, Jenette Goldstein and Sigourney Weaver(!) and you could see a tear in his eye, he was really moved.

If anyone wants to send cards, letters or visit the address is: Lister Ward, Basildon University Hospital, Basildon, Essex SS16 5NL, UK

I won't keep posting on this thread since everybody knows now but Trevor did say when he goes home he'd like me to type out a message from him so when that time comes I'll report back here with that. In the meantime thank you all for making his otherwise drab Saturday night one he really enjoyed!

Alison posted on Facebook earlier that Trev had a good day today... but he's lost about 10lbs in weight.

It's really not. :D

I'll have to tell you about Medway Hospital's Cream of Nothing Soup one day.

Looks like I'll be visiting Trevor on Monday afternoon, so I'll give Alison the heads up. :)
