Doesn't look too bad, The AI seemed pretty inbred-stupid but maybe they did that to show off the gameplay. That reminds me, I played that Aliens Arcade Shooter game the other day....now THAT was fun!

Looks like it could be pretty kewel. Pretty lame AI I agree. Now, if they were to give the Colonial Marines the Gears of War treatment...OHHHHHH BABY!!

I dunno... it looked pretty ropey. It was just a slightly tartier presentation of AvP2... To have made it in the current gaming climate, it would have needed to be improved much more - This must have been a REALLY early version of the game. If not.... I'm glad it was canned |

I believe this footage was from the canceled game titled "Aliens: Colonial Marines". It was meant to fill in the gaps between Aliens & Alien3 and the fighting would take place on the Sulaco and a nearby alien world planetscape. I remember this game now. I recall seeing ads around 1999-2000 for it. It was slated to be released as a sequel to the Aliens vs Predator game. I suppose when development began on Aliens vs Predator II they canned it. Disappointing, as I was excited when I saw the ads. Exo2 My Props Website |
