The discussion of the Alien series of films and the props used in them is the aim, but if it's got Big Bugs and Big Guns, then they are welcome too!

I remember somebody had a nifty animation (flash?) of the motion tracker screen. Does anyone have this? Or even a couple screen caps would be cool.

Thanks.

Yeah.

I remember a post where somebody had a flash animation of one done up (quite nicely).

Avi/mpeg would be fine too...

Jim, did you find an easy way to "store" a mpeg file on a board with a AV output to a LCD display ?

Not sure if you are referring to mine but, I've got it linked up in the lower right corner of my main page.

I haven't worked on it very much lately. The left and right arrow keys on your keyboard should control its pan now. If not, lemme know. :D

nimmot, thanks for the link. Outstanding job! The other link is cool too. I can use both of them just to get an idea.

PRfan, I have found a way to store a movie animation onto a small screen. Better yet, I know how to make it totally interactive and not just play out the same thing over and over. So the graphic frames will have to be drawn up along with the sonar rings. I just needed some pics of a moving one to show my colleague.

I am still trying to find the last board I need, but the idea is sound. I have several displays and they fit in the hama viewer pretty well...

Thanks, hyperdyne. :D

Lemme know if you could use the .fla and action script for this. I can't imagine a better use for it. ;)
