Anyone know what the binoculars Apone uses as the marines first approach the colony are? You know, this is probably the ONLY prop I can think of that I haven't heard mentioned before... Anyone? |

Actually, I saw a pair of Minolta Autofocus binoculars on eBay awhile ago that looked quite similar to the ones in Aliens. |

IMO it`s completly scratch-built or a pair of heavily modified zoom binoculars. I don`t think that a manufactor would use slot-screws around the lens, this looks not really professional. And I believe that somebody had find it in the past after so much years. What do you think of this ?
