what exactly are you referring to..the helmet?

Latest observation....this actor and helmet looks to be the "Animal" character. If you looks closely at the right side of the dome, you'll see one of the arrows. It looks like he is also holding the hero pulse rifle and is the person who fired at 'Morse's" leg in the film.

I also believe "animal" was the one who ducked while "boss" fired his weapon at Aaron after he hit Bishop with a wrench.

I always wondered what character this actor/extra played. Now we know! I can't believe I missed that detail in the photo all this time. Lol!

noble, here are some archive photos of the same glove used by the commandos but worn by the weyland yutani documentarian and cameraman. Anyone else out there have better pics?

Great work! The ventilation parts are spot on as far as I can see. Love the Animal helmet too!

So I think I have sourced a glove from a local shop that is very, very close to the weyland yutani commando glove on the left hand.

They use those in shark tanks too. Nice detail!

Yeah. It kind of makes sense. Steel mesh protects from animal bites.

Not that they'd come anywhere close to stopping alien jaws or claws... But at least they're trying!

With the personalization of the armour I really think we can rule out the idea that this team was created specifically to handle the threat on Fiorina 161. Instead I think they are the guys sent in the nab and grab whatever xeno specimens WY discovers outside the watchful eye of the ICC. They couldn't be sent to Acheron as that was a joint effort with the Colonial Administration (cue theories on why this particular squad of Marines and green LT were sent in).

So less threatening xeno species such as the rhino-like Rhynth from the planet Ryushi ( in DH's original. Aliens vs. Predator) might be what these guys are used to catching.

I haven't updated this thread in a while so I thought I would share something special that I acquired back this past Spring. I am sure you would also appreciate this one Harry. This is an authentic original production/screen used Alien 3 storyboard artwork also signed by Lance Henricksen. I personally confirmed with storyboard artist that this is his work and is production used as indicated by the notes on the right side. This page is the only storyboard sheet that covers the exact weyland yutani commando scene where Bishops confronts Ripley. I thought I would share this as it's one of my holy grail items in my collection. . I am planing to have it framed with screenshots. I'll be sure to share that once I get to it one day.

The Weyland Yutani scientists always interested me, especially this character. Pretty cool glasses/prop.
I always thought they were mysterious with a lot of potential.

I purchased this bad boy earlier this year and thought I would share while I have an hour break. The screen used Weyland Yutani scientist glasses/goggles prop used in Alien 3! Now I can say I own an actual prop seen on screen during finale scene with the Weyland Yutani commandos, Sigourney Weaver, and Lance Henricksen!

Looks like NECA was following my thread when making this figure. Here is a teaser they posted on Twitter! Looks awesome!

I'm really buzzed for the Commando figure! Been wanting one of these for a while now.
