Hi there, I've been really busy with a job transition and volunteering for a fast approaching community theatre event to pay attention to securing bunk space for DCON 2011. My room mate since 2008 doesn't have space available this year and my previous host is booked solid - it's all good on that but I currently don't have a floor space to lay my head down and crash. I can offer cash/paypal and character references  Thank you for your time in reading

i was sid's roommate for 08-09 , and i will say he is an excellent roommate , always kept his stuff in his area , and payed up front , not a loud partier ,and even left the room so i could get some . |

Only the Hilton is booking right now....I'm sure someone will put up their hand once they have a room in the Marriot or Hyatt. It may even be us once we get our room sorted. |

I've gone ahead and shelled out the bucks for my own room, money to come out of souvenir/thin air dept. but it'll ensure that I get more rest as per doc's orders Thank you to all who poked by here/messaged for your consideration, cheers |

I might be getting a roomie through another circle of colleagues but thanks However here's the scoop. As some may be aware of the Mariott/pASSkey fiasco, somehow I managed to get a room there for Friday to Monday and I am holding onto that room until I get the email confirmation that hasn't come through yet. However I have booked a room at the Westin overflow hotel down the street... the idea is to figure out if I want to stay there all weekend or just one night then transfer back to Mariott if indeed they have me as having that room. It's a bit confusing, but once I know for sure what is going on I'm pretty sure I can hold onto the extra room and transfer it out to someone out long before the cancel date - just in case there's anyone else who needs a room. It may seem like hoarding but I want to cma and make sure I've got a space to sleep and if I can help out someone/other people in the community at the same time, bonus. |
